The Ritz Carlton LA

The Ritz Carlton LA is conveniently located in downtown LA, right next to LA live, the Staples Center and the Microsoft theater. We stayed for two days and enjoyed impeccable service.

The deluxe rooms at the Ritz Carlton LA are large and have fabulous views. We were on the 25th floor and had views of the Griffith observatory and the Hollywood sign.

The room was beautifully appointed with a king bed, a sofa and a decent amount of closet space. The bathroom was beautiful, with a separate toilet area, two sinks and a bath and shower in one glass enclosed area. There were plenty of plugs in the room as well. There were four of us and we all fit comfortably. My children slept on the sofa, one on each side and were quite happy. The hotel also made the sofa up with sheets and blanket for each child.

We requested a refrigerator, which the hotel provided free of charge and brought up promptly. Our luggage also arrived promptly.

We took advantage of the lovely rooftop pool And hot tub on the 26th floor. From the pool area, you have great views of the staples center and the Microsoft theater.

There are very attentive pool attendants who are happy to fulfill almost any request. The lounges are comfortable, but if you want a daybed or cabana, those are available as well. There is also a bar, from which you can order drinks and light fare to be brought to you. Additional seating includes sofas and chairs.

We ordered room service on the last morning we were there. We had put the breakfast card on the door the night before. The food came when we had requested it, and the order was completely correct. The food was fabulous and they have gluten free options.

I found the staff to be attentive, and friendly no matter where we went in the hotel. #travel #ritzcarlton #luxury
